ABAWD Program Suspended
The “Families First Coronavirus Response Act” (H.R.6201) was signed into law on March 18, 2020, which modified the USDA’s food assistance and nutrition programs to waive work search requirements in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
The ABAWD program has been suspended until the Secretary of Health and Human Services declares the COVID emergency to be over.
ABAWD participants can contact WorkSource for more information on how to participate in other employment and training services.
